You *seriously* just said that it is taxes (taxes) taxes that cause companies to move overseas in outsourcing.
I'm sorry, when did "moron" get stamped on my forehead? Seriously?
Don't lie to me. Just don't.
People in Europe make significantly more than people in the USA, and their tax rates are generally right around 40% of their earnings (including such "socialist" countries as England because those psychos over there have fully-funded state-run healthcare). If you're moving jobs elsewhere, it is the same damn reason Muppet Treasure Island was filmed in the UK: you pay people less.
Let me give that one to you again. It is cheaper to pay a specialist in Finland in certain fields than it is to pay the salary/insurance/other benefits of the same specialist position in the USA. Most outsourced jobs have gone to places where you're paying your employees change ($0.17 an hour?) versus the dollars per hour US citizens require.
And guess why it's cheaper to pay that guy in Finland rather than the guy in Nevada? Because you don't have to pay rising healthcare costs. A portion of your Finnish worker's salary already pays his healthcare, and if he has a problem with its costs, he takes it up with his government and not your bottom line.
I really appreciate the opportunity to speak my mind - it is a freedom I enjoy. I do not appreciate individuals utilizing the same freedom in order to lie to me, even as they admit enough to uncover their misdirections and inaccuracies.
And do not talk to me about creating jobs here at home, when I have seen documented legal evidence that the "new jobs" created are being filled by shuttling in crews of Indo-Asian workers on a 3-month visa who cycle in and out, living 8 people to a rented room with nothing but bunk beds and a shower and state governments have decided that this sort of thing is legal.

I feel that there has been a resurgence in the positive spirit of the USA. I genuinely do. People seem happier in general, whatever part of the country they occupy, and look forward to their futures. The politics of the moment do not reflect the people who exist in the country I am proud to call my home. I sincerely hope at some point that the political analysists realize that attempts at polarization are actually making things worse, not better, for our country as a whole.
